Most of my weeknight dinners need to happen really quickly. By the end of the day, I’m basically too exhausted to do anything fancy and complicated. This is my vamped up pasta dinner that I use instead of just pouring jarred spaghetti sauce over noodles and calling it dinner. It’s easier and cheaper than homemade lasagna and more exciting than the jarred sauce/noodle combo. Best of all, it’s super cheap. Here’s how it breaks down:
Jarred Pasta Sauce: $1
Mozzarella Cheese $2
Grand total: $5 to feed 8 people! Not too shabby. Throw in a salad and some garlic toast and you have a complete meal.
